Take Profit Trader Pricing

By Elena Marchetti · Checked 6 October 2026

Take Profit Trader, a futures prop firm (sometimes written takeprofittrader, no space), prices its evaluation per account size, not as a flat subscription: five Test and PRO account sizes, a separate one-time activation fee, and a live promo code that discounts both. Every figure below was read directly off the take profit trader website’s own pricing widget on 6 October 2026 — this page exists so you can verify current pricing without digging through the configurator yourself. As a proprietary trading firm serving futures prop traders, Take Profit Trader charges for evaluation access, not for a share of your own capital, and the full rules for each tier are published on its own site.

A trader on a Test and PRO account pays the monthly subscription figure above only while in Test; once funded into a PRO account, the subscription stops entirely — the firm offering this doesn’t charge an ongoing fee on a funded account, and accounts cost nothing further beyond the one-time activation fee covered below. The daily loss column shows what each size’s limit used to be before the firm removed the rule — struck through on its own pricing page, not something inferred here, and the EOD trailing drawdown is the one risk-of-drawdown rule still enforced at every size during Test; PRO switches to an intraday drawdown instead, covered in the next section.

On “3 days” vs “5 trading days”: Take Profit Trader’s own homepage states the fastest path to PRO is 3 trading days, once the profit target and all other test rules are met. Some third-party coverage of this and similar prop firms describes a minimum of 5 trading days before funding; that figure doesn’t appear on Take Profit Trader’s own pages reviewed for this site, so it isn’t stated as this firm’s rule — verify directly with the firm if the distinction matters to your trading style, since prop-firm rules change without notice.

Activation fee and promo code

Passing the evaluation moves an account to PRO, which carries a separate $130 one-time activation fee — not monthly, charged once per account the first time it goes PRO. A trader uses this one-time activation fee only at that single transition; Take Profit Trader charges nothing further for it afterward. The live promo code, NOFEE40, discounts the monthly Test rate by 40% for the life of that account and replaces the activation fee with a credit of the same amount, applied automatically once the account passes. Full code terms, including what happens on a reset, are on the coupon code page; this page covers only the resulting price, not the mechanics.

Worked example from the firm’s own FAQ: a $50K Test passed within 30 days without a reset costs $102 flat under the promo — one discounted month, no activation fee, nothing further once PRO. Whether that price is worth it depends on what you think of the firm overall — see the full review.

Drawdown rules and profit target by account size

Profit target and EOD trailing drawdown both scale with account size, from $1,500/$1,500 on the $25K account to $9,000/$4,500 on the $150K account — reaching that profit threshold is what lets a trader pass the evaluation. Every size carries the same standing rules: no trading bots, no counter positions, and a consistency rule that applies during the evaluation program only. Per Take Profit Trader’s own account-state comparison, PRO and PRO+ accounts drop the consistency rule entirely — it governs how the evaluation is traded, not how a funded account is.

Pro account and prop firm funded-account rules

Once a Test account hits its profit target and net profit clears the required threshold, the account is funded and becomes a pro funded account — a simulated funded account, not a live one, though the daily profit it produces is paid out in real money. A PRO account runs an intraday trailing drawdown rather than the Test phase’s end-of-day figure, carries a buffer requirement before the full balance is withdrawable, and pays an 80/20 split on pro. A trader can choose to upgrade to PRO: optionally continuing to PRO+ moves trading to a live account through the broker Tradovate using Tradovate’s own risk rules, switches to an end-of-day trailing drawdown, removes the buffer requirement, and raises the split to 90/10 — detail on both states, including what happens to unrealized profit on the upgrade, is on the page comparing the two funded states. This prop firm rules structure — test rules distinct from funded pro rules — is consistent across all five account sizes; only the dollar figures change. Copy-trading rules weren’t found stated on any tier’s pricing page reviewed for this site, so none are claimed here either way. For the trust-signal side of paying these fees — Trustpilot score, pass-rate disclosure, regulation status — see the full legitimacy check.

Withdrawal and payout once a trader passes the evaluation

A PRO account withdraws from day one: no minimum number of profitable trading days and no payout-window wait, an 80/20 profit split, and a buffer requirement before the account balance above that buffer is freely withdrawable. Upgrading to the optional PRO+ account removes the buffer requirement, raises the split to 90/10, and switches the drawdown type from intraday to end-of-day — detail on that trade-off is on the page setting PRO and PRO+ side by side and how payouts actually work.

Platforms: TradingView, NinjaTrader and the evaluation program

Take Profit Trader’s evaluation program supports 15+ trading platforms by its own count. The homepage names CQG Data Feed as its “Recommended” feed, with NinjaTrader, TradingView and Tradovate shown as supported platforms under it; Rithmic Data Feed is offered as an alternative, with R|Trader, Quantower and MotiveWave shown, plus more behind a “see more” control not expanded for this page. Platform choice doesn’t change the pricing table above — fees are set by account size, not by which platform you connect.

Pricing FAQ

Does the price change if I use a different trading platform?

No. Pricing is set by account size only; whichever of the 15+ supported platforms you connect — NinjaTrader, TradingView and Tradovate under CQG, or R|Trader, Quantower and MotiveWave under Rithmic, among others — doesn’t change the monthly fee or the activation fee.

Is there a cheaper way to get the $130 activation fee waived?

The only route found on the firm’s own site is the NOFEE40 promo code, applied at Test signup — see NOFEE40’s full writeup for complete terms.

Do I pay the monthly fee and the activation fee at the same time?

No. The monthly fee is charged during Test; the $130 activation fee is a separate one-time charge only once an account passes and moves to PRO.

How do I request a payout once I’m funded?

Through the account dashboard once you’re funded in PRO; the firm’s own homepage FAQ states payouts are processed via Plaid to US bank accounts, or PayPal or Wise, typically within one business day.

Is Take Profit Trader’s evaluation automated trading friendly?

No. “No trading bots” is a standing rule across every account size, so fully automated trading strategies are against the rules as published; discretionary and systematic-but-manual trading styles aren’t restricted beyond that.

What’s the fastest way to get funded with Take Profit Trader?

Hit the profit target for your chosen account size while following the test rules — the firm states this can take as little as 3 trading days, making it a genuinely one-step evaluation rather than a multi-phase one. Take Profit Trader uses the same pro activation process regardless of account size: pro profits start accruing from day one once activated.

Can I run multiple Take Profit Trader accounts at once?

Yes — up to 5 funded accounts, any mix of PRO and PRO+, which is how some traders run multiple TPT accounts in parallel to diversify across account sizes or trading styles. Futures trading carries real risk on every account, so this isn’t a way to avoid that risk, only to spread position sizing across more capital.

Independence: pricing is checked against Take Profit Trader’s own pages, not taken from a reseller or aggregator. See About for the full disclosure.
